The Market Theatre is now running LAMDA exams.
Jo Croydon-Foster, who runs the MT Kids’ Club, is an international examiner with LAMDA and, therefore, the ideal person to head this project.
The LAMDA examination syllabus is comprehensive, with exams for all ages in Acting, Speaking of Verse and Prose, Mime, Devising Drama, Reading for Performance, Speaking in Public and Musical Theatre.
For pupils from age 4 to adult, the exams are extremely good for promoting confidence, communication skills, performance skills, speaking aloud, public speaking, eloquence and physical/vocal dynamics.
