The Market Theatre is situated in the town of Hitchin in the countryside of Hertfordshire, a few miles from Luton and Stevenage. It is close to the A1 and the M1 and has a good rail link with Kings Cross which is only 30 minutes away. The centre of London is, depending on traffic, 45 minutes away by road.

It is a unique town of around 35,000 people, with a very busy town centre. It is definitely the trendy town of the area, boasting a thriving market, historic buildings and church, numerous bars, pubs and restaurants and two nightclubs.
The town has long had a proud dramatic and musical theatre tradition, which is now enhanced by the addition of The Market Theatre.

Take the Luton/Hitchin turn off from the M1 or the Hitchin turn off from the A1M

From Hitchin station it is a 10 - 15 minute walk to town or taxis are available.
